CHICAGO (IL) – 01.26.2015 – Jazz guitarist Bobby Broom‘s latest album, “My Shining Hour” (MSH), which debuted in August, was the #38 album in America according to JazzWeek.

Broom had a sensational 2014: His third DownBeat Critics Poll nod as one of the world’s top Jazz guitarists; Opening across North America for the Steely Dan Jamalot Ever After Tour 2014 over the summer; and the release of MSH on Origin Records, which became his hottest selling album in years that sold out all of its CDs on the web in the first nine days. The album was also a critical success that made several national lists of top albums for 2014, and now JazzWeek’s tracking of North America’s Jazz radio stations airplay of the album.

Bobby recently appeared at the Musiq Haus Showcase in New York City earlier in January, and will be at Dazzle Jazz in Denver February 12-13 at 7:00 p. & 9:00 p. with The Bobby Broom Trio, with bassist Dennis Carroll and Makaya McCraven on drums.
